Hi all.

This might be a great service that a guild could provide.

I am looking for a GW mentor. I have played the game for about 7 months now and have done just about all I want to do. I have a few things left to cross off my list before Chapter 2 comes out but I am having trouble getting them done. I have a list of things that have become annoyingly hard to do for me. I am in a small guild which can only teach me so much but I don't want to leave them just to learn. I actually like everyone in my guild. So here I am beating my head on a wall reading posts for hours and not really finding everything I need to know. So I started thinking "why not apply for a mentor on guild wars guru too see if anyone would like to pass some knowledge on to a better than average player and hopefully gain another valued friend. I would be willing to give over any "uber drops" that fall while being trained as well as 1/2 of my take in gold.

Here is a list of the things I would like to learn/get before chapter 2

1. Become a better solo farmer (right now I farm the monitors and griffons with a W/Mo outside of Augury Rock) I also did some solo monk farming before it was nerfed but I was never very good with the monk.

2. Become a better runner. (I can run most places except post nerf Droks and some of the more difficult regions around in the Droks area. I can almost run Elonas just trying to work out the npc movements)

3. Market trends in GW. I know that there are tricks and trades made I just don't spend enough time going to different collector and merchants to work out what is happening.
4. PvP - It is just so hard to get a good lesson/introduction to PvP that I gave up trying. My guild just doesn't PvP much as we are small and play in different time zones.

5. Still trying to figure out wpn/armor combos that work best in certain areas and I have never been rich so I usually just get collector items and mod them.

6. At least one set of FoW Armor

7. How to make good runs in UW and FoW. The Pugs are so bad here that it is hard to learn much about it. I have looked at a few good guides on UW but that will never make a bad Pug good.

8. Anything else worth learning.

Yes I have my own opinions and ideas on how some of the above works or should be done but I am looking for an awesome mentor that has done just about everything that they want to do before chapter 2.

Please reply with something about yourself so that I can decide if it will be a waste of my time and yours before deciding who to pick.

Please don’t flame. It is expected but not really wanted.

I currently have 3 characters

20 W/R or W/Mo that is at ember light camp
20 Mo/W game complete
17 Me/W built for IW (Shadow Warrior) that is in the Desert almost ready to ascend.

Although this isn't a pay thing, it's still a service, so I'm going to move this to Etc. of ventari's sell. Also, please try to fix the formatting of your post. Some of it doesn't work.
